The Vision Beyond the Blind, the Near, and Far
Introduction:
At Mission TEACHES, we believe that having the correct view is crucial to understanding and approaching the task God has entrusted to His remnant people. We aim to illustrate the anatomy and physiology of Mission TEACHES in relation to God’s remnant church, providing a clear understanding of our mission and role.
The Anatomy & Physiology of Mission TEACHES:
Anatomy and physiology are two branches of science that help us understand the human body. Anatomy deals with the structure of body parts and their relationships, while physiology focuses on their functions. In the context of Mission TEACHES, if we were to compare our role to a body part, we would be the heart. The brain, the guiding component, is reserved for Jesus Christ, as “Christ is the head of the church and he is the Savior of the body” (Ephesians 5:23). The heart symbolizes the core of our mission, essential yet part of a broader, more dynamic system – the church.
1 Corinthians 12:12-14, & 27 speaks of the church as one body with many members, all unique yet joined together. This signifies that the church’s role and work are more diverse and expansive than the heart itself. Mission TEACHES, representing the heart, plays a vital but specific role within this larger body.
Understanding the Heart:
A scholarly perspective describes the heart as a dual-pump system, essential for blood circulation. This analogy is apt for our role in the spiritual realm. The right side of the heart sends deoxygenated blood to the lungs, while the left pumps oxygenated blood to the body. This mirrors our mission of circulating spiritual knowledge and nourishment throughout the church
